1 day hell’s gate park and lake naivasha
1 DAY TRIP TO HELLS GATE NATIONAL PARK.
The park is situated in the environs of lake Naivasha about 90kilometers from Nairobi .it provides a variety of wildlife ,unusual flora and many bird species it’s one of Kenyan parks where climbing, walking ,and climbing are allowed.
0800hrs leave Nairobi for Naivasha have a stopover at rift valley view point for about an hour and enjoy the spectacular view of the Great Rift Valley.
Continue to Naivasha enjoying beautiful sceneries of both the rift valley and Mount Kenya. Overlooking Lake Naivasha. Taking lunch en route at a designated place (hotel or restaurant).
Arrive at the gate either Elsa or olkaria gates that serves most tourists at 2pm.
Enjoy walking, climbing and biking. It’s an important home of the lammergeyser. Also known for its yearly wheel barrow ride events.
Experience hot springs and natural open air saunas, game viewing including baboons, warthogs, buffalo, and giraffes.
Later return back to Nairobi arriving late evening to the point of pick up.
1 DAY ESCURSION TO LAKE NAIVASHA.
Lake Naivasha is the second largest fresh water lake in Kenya.
Depart from Nairobi after breakfast the journey takes you up to the floor of the great rift valley .once in lake Naivasha proceed to Elsa mere lodge it’s the home of the late joy Adamson who together with her husband became world famous for pioneering their conservation work and their relationship with the lioness Elsa.
After the visit we proceed for lunch at one of the lodges located on the shores of Lake Naivasha. At early afternoon we take a boat ride on the lake, the lake is fringed with lots of papyrus reeds but its waters are shallow kit an average depth of five meters. Animals that come to to the shores of the lake include giraffes that walk among the acacia, buffalo’s and Columbus monkeys together with large lake hippo population
Next stop is the crescent islands conservancy here there is a lot of easy to see game e.g.
Giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras, and impalas. It’s also a haven for birds with over 200 species. The lake has a lot of hippos which can be easily be spot on its shores.
Return back later to Nairobi in the evening.
